Important Information Concerning the 2021 Events

Due to NY State COVID regulations impacting the allowable number of attendees at events, Westminster’s 2021 events will, unfortunately, not be open to SPECTATORS or VENDORS.  We will, therefore, not be selling any tickets for this event (this applies as well to our yearly ticket subscribers). If you are a ticket subscriber, you will receive a renewal form for the 2022 show sometime in the fall.

Exhibitors will be provided two (2) exhibitor tickets per entered dog for daytime competition, only on the day the dog is exhibited. These exhibitor tickets will be part of each dog’s MB-F entry packet distributed in late May.

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak and NYC restrictions, our WKC office is partially closed as employees are working remotely.  The best way to reach staff members, until further notice, is via email or by leaving a voicemail.

In 1877, New York was well on its way to becoming the world’s greatest city. This was the year that a group of sporting gentlemen decided that this would be a good time to hold a dog show in Manhattan. It didn’t take long before the Westminster Kennel Club, following the lead of its home town, would be on its way to becoming the world’s greatest dog show. Our mission is "to celebrate the companionship of dogs while promoting responsible dog ownership, health, and breed preservation."
